The Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences is an interdisciplinary scientific and education workplace which contributes to ecologization of education by development and application of new methods in the fields of Ecology and Environmental Sciences in several forms of study. Education is focused on the following topics: teaching ecology, landscape ecology, sustainable development and local agenda 21, biomonitoring of components, botany and zoology, geographical information systems.
